Rearview Camera Opted by Most Car Buyers

Each year, an alarming number of children are killed from back over incidents.

In fact, just over a weekend, a two–year-old boy was killed after his father accidentally ran the car over him in 300 Block of El Paso Street in Merkel, Texas.

Due to sequencing fatal accidents in driveways, the Auto safety regulators aim to prevent children from getting injured or killed from back over incidents.

According to the Arrow Ford Sales Manager, Shanna Kevil, the company has witnessed more requests from parents seeking for the rearview camera technology in cars.

Based on figures released by the KidsAndCars for 2006 to 2010, a total of 448 children have died from driveway accidents. Therefore, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration plans to require all car manufacturers to make rearview cameras as standard in all new cars by 2014.

Kevil agreed that the rearview camera is indeed a great idea. He attested that more and more people buying cars prefer the one with a rearview camera installed and if the car they prefer does not have the device installed, people often request the manufacturer to have it installed in their opted car.

Talking about the car‘s price if these rearview mirrors are installed in all new vehicles, car manufacturers admitted that the car’s cost will definitely increase. However, Kevil said that if ever the device has been mandated soon by the traffic law enforcement, its price is expected to level down.

If drivers are opting to add a rearview camera in their car, approximately it will cost up to $550.

Last February, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration tried to get the rule pass in Congress but the transportation opposed saying that the bill needs further research.

Obviously, people are now opting for the device in cars regardless of its cost. Therefore, he bill might probably pass the Congress since it is widely requested by people across the globe for safety purposes.

Headrest Car DVD Player, One of 2013 Jaguar XJ Ultimate’s Key Features

If you are not yet satisfied the regular XJL Jaguar Supersport simply because it isn’t elegant enough for you, then you’ll be definitely excited to hear the latest Jaguar flagship, the 201l3 Jaguar XJ Ultimate.

The Ultimate was said to be about $40,000 more expensive than the XJL Supersport and $15-20,000 pricier than other luxury sedans like Maserati Quattroporte and Mercedez-Benz S63 AMG. However, it is a bit cheaper than a Porsche Panamera Turbo S and about $50,000 cheaper than the V-12-powered S65 AMG.

In return with its pricey value, most of its enhancements focused on the rear seat area where most ultra-luxury cars are chauffer-driven. The rear compartment receives two-third generation iPads, a champagne chiller and two bespoke champagne flutes hidden underneath a power-actuated rear business table and the most powerful car entertainment system, the twin headrest car DVD player which comes with wireless headphones and dual adjustable rear seat for comfortable viewing.

Moreover, the rear passenger situated behind the passenger seat also has a hidden switch behind the passenger at its disposal to move the front seat forward to provide enough space for the leg.

Well, if the said key features don’t sound good enough, there are actually more that this Ultimate has to offer. Its rear seat also features four-way lumbar adjustment, massage, heating and cooling functions.

Additionally, the rear seat car entertainment system can display content from the built-in DVD player, a digital TV tuner, or from an external media player while both the climate control and the entertainment system can be controlled by a wireless remote which is located at the rear center console. The dual rear iPads have their own leather-trimmed docking stations and wireless keyboards as well with an integrated charging.

Finally, moving on with Ultimate’s mechanical features after its technological aspects, the vehicle is powered by a 0.5 liter direct-injected V-8 producing 510 horsepower and mated to a new 8-speed automatic transmission. Exclusively, Ultimate will be offered in the long-wheelbase configuration, and features a specially-tuned rear suspension to provide comfort to the rear seat passengers.

Apparently, there is nothing more to offer since Ultimate already features the best of the best key features that a car must haves such as the luxurious car entertainment system, elegant exterior design aside from its powerful mechanical features.

Wal-Mart Stores which was formerly an American multinational retailer corporation and has been branded as Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. in 2008 has been using industrial monitor camera since 2007 for the purpose of ensuring that its renewable-power and energy-efficiency projects will stay on track.

The company is the 18th biggest public corporation based on the list of Forbes Global 2000 and the largest private employer in the world with over two million employees. It runs chains of large discounts department stores and warehouse stores. Until present, Wal-Mart remains to be a family-owned business.

Initially, Wal-Mart uses industrial monitor camera for construction sites, giving flexible viewing capabilities. Said camera allows Wal-Mart owners and managers to monitor projects from time to time, accessing a web-enabled construction camera interface such as crane camera monitor from computers and mobile devices.

According to Wal-Mart’s director of renewable-power and energy-efficiency projects, Marty Gilbert, the camera’s zoom in and zoom out feature serves him best since he can immediately see details. Gilbert added in his statement that the camera’s close up shot provides him with a detailed inspection of solar equipment installation while its ability to provide a wider image are used to monitor environment and safety compliance as well as workflow.

At present, Gilbert is encouraging Wal-Mart’s external contractors to access the cameras to reduce cost from travel and other related expenses. Gilbert told the contractors that by eliminating even just three business trips can justify the cost of the said industrial monitor camera.

Gilbert’s department alone handles up to 40 projects in a month, adding that at any moment, Wal-Mart might have 500 domestic construction projects in the pipeline. Therefore, obviously the industrial monitor camera really provides an enormous role in the constantly growing business of the said company.
